A woman walks into a bar and asks for a glass of water. The waiter takes out a gun and points it at her. After a few seconds the woman smiles, thanks the waiter, and leaves. What just happened?

She had the hiccups and needed a glass of water, but the guy pointed a gun at her and it gave her a fright (a well known trick for curing the hiccups).
