how did you realize you were not straight?

I liked a girl that I didn't even realize I liked until I almost kissed her. 5 times. My confused brain pieced together I'm bisexual or also known as demi-bisexual and I worked from there.

How I found out I was genderqueer/fluid was cause I would constantly dress like a guy and steal my brothers shirts for no obvious reason just to wear them. I also felt weird having a chest some days, and wearing girl clothes. I felt different from my friends, cause sometimes I would act like See More▼ a guy and sometimes a girl. being a 'she' wasn't all that I was. I felt male too. But being completely 'he' wasn't exactly right either. non-binary too. then I found out about genderqueer people and genderfluid people, and realized "holy shit this feels right".
And now, I am a girly boi. that is my official neo-pronoun, but I'm a she, a he, and a they.

Well, it started off where my friend told me she liked me, but I didn't know how I felt about her. After a while of thinking, I realized I truly do find women attractive, but it scared me, so I tried to surround myself with boys. Me and her started dating though, and it released my fear. I then knew I was bisexual.


Then, I found out I was nonbinary when my other friend started playing with her/his/they're pronouns (I'm not even sure to this day) and something felt even more See More▼ off than normal about it. I started paying attention more, and found out what I was.
