I know this is basic but “Sail” by Awolnation really helped me through a tough time. Aurora and Hozier have really helped me learn and grow and strengthen myself. “Broken Crown,” “After the Storm,” “The Cave,” “Dustbowl Dance,” and “Sigh No More” by Mumford and Sons has also really helped me. And a lot of Beth Crowley’s songs have really affected me in a good way. “Don’t Carry it All,” “Rox in the Box,” “Down by the Water,” and “This is Why we Fight” by The Decemberists really See More helped me learn and grow. “Sing” and “Save Yourself and I’ll Hold them Back” by My Chemical Romance are just so magical. A lot of Lights’s songs are really meaningful time. “Human” and “Run” by Daughter is also amazing. I like “Believer,” “Whatever It Takes,” and “Bleeding Out” by Imagine Dragons. I also really like Hollywood Undead, they helped me through a really hard time. I like the Yiddish version of “Hallelujah” so much, it’s so magical. I like “Oh Sleeper” and “Thus Always to Tyrants” by The Oh Hellos. The list really goes on.
