Any good ideas for a story... like for a book? Hi guys, hope you are having a wonderful weekend, I want to ask you guys if you maybe have good ideas for a story I could write, fiction, and for the ages 12-18. I want to enter a contest that is going on here in South Africa- you have to write a story with 25 000- 60 000 words. The winning books will have their books published and 1st place is R25 000, so that could be about $2500 or 1560 pounds I think. Then 2nd place R15 000, so about $1500 or 940 pounds and then the 3rd place is R10 000 or $1000 or 625 pounds. So, remember I want it to be creative, because I have a few ideas but asking people will maybe make it easier to come up with a story for ages 12-18. BTW I will be writing the book in Afrikaans so I won't be able to post it on Qfeast. Oh well... see ye later guys!
