When I was 9 I saw the episode "Cave demons" on a show called lost tapes. I was just a kid,man, it scared the plops out of me. :C

Mine is Jeff The Killer. He's the scariest legend I've seen. The first one I saw was Michael Myers... Now he's like just Jeff The Killer to me, just with a white face though. A.K.A he's no scary at all, neither is Chucky, Freddy Crouger, etc.

I only remember a bit of it so spare me some slack
There was once a lumberjack who lived in the woods and had a beautiful wife two kids and a Golden retriever. One day he was called to the mill because of a emergency, and when he came back home his entire house was burnt to the ground and his wife's corpse was burnt his two sons dead in what once was their bedroom. See More▼ After that he ran into the woods screaming and killing anything he found blaming everything for his families death. And so he still wanders the woods of Benawah county still killing and screaming with his axe, the only thing left from his once happy life.
