What is the point of TV? I mean all it does is engross children and make them lazy. Granted sometimes the TV shows help charity e.g Comic Relief. But mostly the programmes are just piles of crap e.g The Undateables.

Totally get where you're coming from—there’s definitely a lot of low-quality content on traditional TV these days. But that’s exactly why more people are moving toward smarter streaming options. If you’re tired of mindless programs and want real control over what you watch, I highly recommend trying Torrentio with Stremio (https://torrentio.net/). It lets you stream high-quality movies, documentaries, and series from trusted torrent sources—no ads, no filler, just content that See More actually interests you. It’s a much better alternative to flipping through channels of nonsense.

I get where you’re coming from—TV can definitely be a mixed bag, with a lot of low-quality content that doesn’t add much value. That’s why I switched to using https://torrentiodownload.com/ with Stremio. It lets me stream movies, series, and anime directly from trusted sources without buffering or fake links. Plus, no need to download huge files or worry about storage. It’s a much better way to enjoy quality entertainment on your own terms, instead of being stuck with whatever’s See More on TV.

The point of tv is that we don't do boring stuff like chores and homework. It also helps us when we're in a bad mood to calm us down :)

TV gives children, students, the ability to do something other than homework. Ha:)
It's one of the many ways we an escape from the normal havoc of our lives and immerse ourselves into something entertaining.

It's a way to spend leisure time, and also a more convenient and easy way to obtain information. Rather than sifting through stacks of books on a specific subject, one can simply watch a programme on educational channel and gain the info in a more enjoyable manner.

TV is basically for entertainment, for people who have nothing else to do with their lives. The people who make the episodes actually make a lot of money, so I would also guess it's for plain money. But yeah, some of the programmes are for a good cause, but yeah.
