Does this guy like me?

I like this guy (obviously) and I want to know if he likes me back. We've known each other for years but we've just started hanging out more and talking a lot. It all started at a town Christmas thing and we hung out with a bunch of our friends. When we went to a friend's house to watch a movie, he put his arm around me and we sort of snuggled. We went to a party and at the party he talked to me almost all night. Then he joined our show choir back stage crew for me so that we could hang out more and at our competition we talked the entire day and on the bus ride home he told me a lot of personal stuff because he says that he trusts me. Then he joined our school musical and we talk everyday now. For Valentine's Day, he wrote me a poem (which I told him he should write for me) and he got me two of the carnations our school was selling. We also started writing notes back and forth and are texting almost everyday. And his friends joke around and say, "You two should just hook up already." sometimes. But in one of his notes he wrote me it says that he's glad we're friends. I don't know if he thinks of me as a best friend or if he likes me.
