For your third point, I would say that once he realises the widespread array of issues that require money (e.g tax payer dollars) is actually a lot and that these things do not come cheap, he will revoke his previous statement. Not only does it take a lot of money to run a country and keep it going, you also have to take into account that your country is in debt.
