I like Foxy, but I don't think he is a good guy. Here is my theory about him:
Freddy somehow caused Foxy to cause the bite of 87. Foxy was put out of order and spent years cursing Freddy until he turned into an evil manic.

Foxy is one of my favorites, but that theory, "Foxy is trying to protect you, you just die of a heart attack! and and in the second game he just wants to hug you!!" is retarded.
