I like Tris better. She's a much smarter, more rational person, and isn't overly suspicious, like Katniss. Katniss is oftentimes so suspicious that it makes her illogical, which I find to be quite frustrating.
Tris is also more decisive than Katniss is, which is always nice (*cough* Peeta/Gale *cough*), and is generally a better friend than Katniss is, seeming See More▼ to care more about the feelings of her friends than Katniss does. Katniss lashes out at both Peeta and Gale (and other people) on several occasions, with them usually doing little to warrant such outbursts, while Tris generally is kinder and more considerate of her friends (except for that one time with Al, since he DID do something to deserve that). When Tris hurts her friends, she is more apologetic, and usually shows much more empathy than Katniss does.
