I'm trying to be careful, but honestly when I asked my parents for a binder they said "Just use bandages or sports bras. You don't need a binder, its too expensive." I know all about the ricks of ace bandages, and I am going to warn my parents about it and try to convince them to get me a binder again. I doubt it'll work.. But honestly I feel like the only way See More▼ they'll listen is if I ended up in the hospital. Which sucks. @Blueberry_Child
Yeah, hey be careful with the ace bandages though those arent a good way to bind, they sorta constrict and makes it hard to breath. I also cracked a rib binding with those and its no picnic either. Im glad you at least have one person who actually does the respecting of you and your pronouns.
@Blueberry_Child yeah he's cool. he treats me the same either way, and when I came out he gave me a few of his old shirts to wear. My parents think I'm going through a phase. I don't dress as a guy often cause what I use for a binder (Tight ace bandages and a sports bra) are really bad for me, and they kinda hurt. Plus difficulty in breathing... But I do my best
