Drabbles~
Bree stood there quietly,removing the bloodied gloves from her hands. It hurt, seeing one of the few people she actually considered a friend lying there. Something she rarely felt pricked the corner of her sapphire pools, threatening to stream down her worried face. She hated feeling so useless. She knew there was nothing she could do.
And it was all her fault.
"Bree..." A concerned Zoran voice rung in the mountain girl's ears.
"Are you... Crying?", Kaela asked placing See More a webbed hand on Bree's shoulder.
The small girl swatted the hand away. "No! Why would you ask that?!" Bree snapped harshly, though it was quite clear that tears had been shed.
Kaela didn't think it was possible. Bree? Crying? This seemed so unlike the fierce and somewhat mean villager that she knew. Was this really he breaking point? She wasn't even sure if Bree /could/ worry.
Maybe she was wrong. That beneath layers of rudeness, harshness, and protective clothing, there were actual human emotions.
