ive been rewatching tuca and bertie again. literally one of the best shows of all time i think. for a show about animated bird people it’s so incredibly realistic specifically in how it handles bertie’s backstory. i had an extremely similar experience with a coach when i was in high school and you have absolutely no idea how comforting it is to see a character responding to their trauma in a similar way to you. also the whole bit where bertie tries to talk to her friends See More about it and they all just dismiss it fuckking destroyed me bc that’s literally how my former friends acted
