ESPECIALLY in high school i was always labeled as weird and crazy. people would hang out with me bc i was funny, felt bad for me, or just wanted in on the drama, but that’s really all there was to it. i remember absolutely destroying my entire friend group sophomore year over a guy who, in hindsight, was completely and totally mid and not very nice to me but that’s See More besides the point. that was four years ago and now i’m in college but for some reason i’m not weird and crazy anymore and people want to be around me almost TOO much. absolutely nothing changed!! i got diagnosed w bpd which made me a little more aware of my behavior but i’m not even medicated for that. the only other difference is my appearance. i learned how to dress, my waist got slimmer, my hips got wider, and i got bangs. that’s what decides the difference between “weird crazy bitch” and manic pixie dream girl apparently.
