France often seems infatuated with the other nations and is known to make blatant sexual comments at every opportunity. He is very affectionate. However, he believes love is not something to be forced on others, and will stop if what he's doing is not being enjoyed. Showing a sense of respect towards others and maturity. So France can be mature at times; and when he is he shows his role as the "big brother" type well. He doesn't much like violence however can have a bit of a temper tantrum when his buttons are pushed (often by England).

Candy Canes, one of my personal favorites, are symbolic in Christianity. Celebrating Christmas, one nifty Christian candy-maker had an idea. Currently, a popular candy were hardened sugar sticks. He decided to make a few changes to the famous candy. So first, he changed the color from a pure white to a white-and-red striped stick. The white for Jesus' perfection, the red for his selfless blood. But he knew that just two colors wouldn't make this a popular new candy. It needed something more. So, he twisted one end so that it was shaped like a shepherd's staff. (after the sheperds, the first to see baby Jesus).
