Chapter 3.

The therapist

Clara sat at a wooden desk across from a lady with short black hair and glasses. Her smile was to large for her face and why was she smiling on the first place? There were toys and piles of books on the wall, the place looked rather welcoming but felt awful at the moment.

"Hello I'm mrs. Books but you can call me Linda", she said still smiling showing off her pearly white teeth.

"Hi", Clara mumbled.

Mrs. Books positive attitude was making clara very uncomfortable and moody.

"So what's your name", mrs. Books aka Linda said pulling out her paper.

Clara wanted to jump up and wipe the smile right of her face.

"Don't you already know this stuff, I'm Clara"

Her exspression turned more serious "and your friend died"

Clara shooke her head up and down a few times.

"Poor thing", Linda said.

It sounded more like she was speaking to an animal or a toddler who just fell down not a teenage girl.

When her visit was over the therapist pulled a bad of lolypops out of the top right drawer.

"You can choose a lolypop", she said

Clara reached into the bag it was her favorite brand "dum dums" she picked the coconut flavor.

"Have a nice day"

Clara forced a meaningless smile. Apparently this was supposed to make her feel better all mrs. Books did was make her feel worse. Tomorrow she had to survive Jaycees funeral.
