Chapter 3.

Turtles

With shells on their backs,

They don't have to fear

Anything that comes near.

Their shells are their protection and their home.

Oh, what an amazing dome!

Their shell is like a rhinos tough hide

Some you can ride!

Some are mean, some are nice,

And they don't like snow or ice.

In the winter they hibernate.

Aren't they great?

These are clever. Poetry is a very creative way of writing that I believe deserves more appreciation.

I really like this. I think you should try other forms of poetry instrad of just couplets. Maybe try free verse or lyric, for it helps with expression.
