Pumpkin Pie

I hate pumpkin pie!

Ya wanna know why?

It looks like frog guts,

And chicken butts.

I bet it's worse than it looks.

Maybe it tastes like rusty hooks.

I hate pumpkin pie.

If I eat it, I'll die!

These are clever. Poetry is a very creative way of writing that I believe deserves more appreciation.

I really like this. I think you should try other forms of poetry instrad of just couplets. Maybe try free verse or lyric, for it helps with expression.
