Where is She?
At home, 6:30 pm, Friday, December 4th, 2015I'm waiting for my mom to come home right now and I'm freaking out a little because she's been gone for almost 2 hours. I still can't believe that she would actually go on a date with someone else. She didn't even ask if that was okay with me! Clearly she's moved on from dad and this new guy is ruining my plan to get my parents back together.
Before my parents got divorced, they were always fighting. I don't even know what they were fighting about; sometimes it was work, sometimes it was money and sometimes it was about the stupidest things you could possibly imagine.
"Hey, Victoria, I'm home!"
I heard my mom close the front door. "Mom!" I yelled as I ran downstairs. "How was your date?" I asked a little too loud. "It was... great," she said. By the way she was smiling, I could tell it went way better than great. "So, what's his name?" I asked. "Tom," she replied. Tom What a plain name. "So, would you go on a second date with him?" I asked. "Maybe, if he asked..." she said. I could tell that they hit it off and that my mom probably wanted to date this guy.
I could just feel it.
