In the City
A few hours of walking later, Maraya and Ms. Carolyn finally made it to the city."We finally made it," says Ms. Carolyn. "See? I told you that it would take us a few hours."
"Yeah, I guess you were right," Maraya replied.
While they were walking, Ms. Carolyn told Maraya that she made up a special song to sing for their special day and it went like this:

Oh, what should we do today??
After Ms. Carolyn sang her special song to Maraya, she complimented her. "Wow, that was a great song, Ms. Carolyn."
"Thanks, Maraya," Ms. Carolyn says to her. "I just love to sing!"
Maraya laughed.
On the way, they said good morning to an elderly woman and a dog walker. Then they went in to an antiques shop and a gift shop. After looking around in the two shops, they started singing their special song together again. Suddenly, Maraya became hungry and so did Ms. Carolyn.
"Ms. Carolyn, I'm hungry," Maraya told her.
"Oh, me, too," she replied. "But don't worry, I brought us some snacks."
Ms. Carolyn gets out an apple in her right hand and a banana in her left. "I got an apple and a banana. Which one would you like?"
Maraya thought about it. "I'll have...the apple."
Ms. Carolyn chuckled. "As I thought, cause you like apples, don't you?"
"Yep," Maraya answered Ms. Carolyn's question and then asked her a question back. "And you like bananas?"
"Mm-hmm, I sure do," she answered Maraya's asked question.
They started to walk to look for a place to sit so they can eat their snacks. Before they even found a place to sit down, Maraya and Ms. Carolyn both took a bite out of their snacks and enjoyed the first bite from them, too. When they finally found a bench to sit on, they continued eating and they also talked together as well.
A few minutes later, they finished their snacks and continued on to their walk to the city and sang their special song together again for the third time. After that, they just had more fun enjoying themselves until it was time for lunch.
