Arrows and Regret

Alice a medieval peasant with lots of fight and lots of heart, can't help but fear for her life as her parents are ripped from her and the memories begin, everything she has done has grown into pain, and she must over come them to get back her parents.

Chapter 2.

stolen meal

I put the bag on the table and my mother looks sad at it but still looks inside.
"we'll have soup tonight" my mother says.  My sister perks up.
"Really"! she says smiling.
"yeah oh willow will you get the plates out" willow nods "and Alice you go fetch some water from the stream" I go outside to the stream not that far from the cottage and pick up the bucket and fill it with water and bring it back
        An hour had passed and my mother was done.  Willow was the first to eat.
'yum!" she said and i take a sip.
"nice work mom" i said i finish it in two minutes but my sister finished it in one.
"it's not as good as last week" my mom said sadly swishing her food around like a sad kid
"it's perfect" i said
"your lying"
"I'm not i promise"
"promises can be broken" silence. "well I'm full I'll be in my room"
"me too" my day said
"I'm kinda full too" my sister said
yea me too" i said getting up from my chair and walk to my small bedroom and sit on my bed, my sister walks in.
"are we a bad family" she said sitting on a family
"there are worse"
"worse than us"
"of course don't worry were a good family lets get you ready for bed" she brushes her teeth and i do too. We are all ready by the time the moon sets.
"goodnight" i said tucking her into bed
"goodnight" she said rolling over.  i Get into my own bed and fall asleep.
