One Reason Why I Disliked School Today
This wasn't a very nice day. It rained all day! And I was left with tons of homework. I was very happy the past few days, but this got me down...I couldn't see the girl I've been hanging out with for two days now. All because of the stupid rain! I was mad, and thought to myself ~I'm even more stupid! I forgot to ask her name!~ Well, there's nothing I could do about it. I do have her cell phone number...As I dialed up the number, I got a voice answering, "Hello?"
"Hi, um, I'm-"
"You don't have to tell me! You're that boy I met!" She exclaimed,
"W-wha~? How did you know!?"
"I'd recognize your voice anywhere!", I could faintly hear a giggle and that made me blush.
"Hahaha! I guess I could too! Um, I feel stupid 'cause I forgot to ask you for your name...So, I'm Josh, yours?"
"I'm Sophia! But you can just call me Sophie!"
Without realizing it, I said, "Sophie...what a nice name~"
"Hehe! Thanks!"
"Wait, did I say that aloud!? Um...haha, guess I did!", I said as I went to get a wet towel to cool down my face. I looked at my watch, "Sorry Sophie, I gotta go, homework is calling me-no make that nagging at me to finish it, haha!"
"O~kay! Talk to you later!", She giggled out,
"Bye!"
"Bye!"
As my face cooled down, I began to worry about my homework-eight assignment due on Friday. ~I'll never get this done~ I thought, ~But I'll try!~. I smiled as I thought about the phone call while getting to my desk to do a big, big job.
