Tides Of War
The new Commander, Anthony Purkins took a deep breath, and then said, "Captain, fire the photon and send the Hornets, then tell Captain Hando to engage on the left."The captain nodded, then the battle begins.
"Fire the Ion canon, then send in Wolf squad. I want that station knocked out." He added, frowning at the oncoming enemy.
They had been at war for a month now, and things werent any better than they were when they started.
Now, he had lost almost everything, so he had to use old ships that were out of date and slow as all hell.
"Sir, we have unfamiliar readings out on the Saturn front. They appear to be fighting the enemy!" The comm officer says surprised.
Commander Purkins perked up.
"Get me their comm signal, stat!" He ordered.
"Sir, I have a reading!" The officer says, putting it through.
There was a pink-haired man on the other end, and he was trying his best to speak English.
"Hello?! Is this the E.U.F. Houston?! We need help! We're holding our own, but we need assistance with their main ship! Please help us!"
"It might be a trick, Sir." The officer says, stepping behind his Commander.
Comm. Purkins thought on this.
"Cancle Wolf squads orders. Send them to knock out that ship!" He orders, seeing the squad change course. "Lests just hope they are friendly." He morbidly states, seeing his little brothers ship fly off into battle.

"Alpha 1 to Omega 3, be cautious. They might be tangos as well." The captain says, flying toward the unknown ships.
"Damn it, Purkins, get back in formation!" Alpha yells into his comm, knowing he wouldnt.
"Sir, take Gold leader and send a few proton torpedos into their thrusters! I have an idea!" Elezar says, firing his blasters at oncoming enemy fighters.
He heard the captain grunt, then give the order to attack the thrusters.
Elezar smirked, then turned on an old band, Iron Maidens Passchendaele, the first song on his playlist.
He fired, dodged, barrel rolled, listened, and cursed his way through until the enemy warships thrusters were little more than space junk.
"Purkins, what the hell are-"
He hit the self-destruct button, then ejected, flying the mini-nuke into the enemy ship, blowing it from port to starboard, sending the ship into a shut down state.
The unknown fighters halted their assault, falling back to their ship. One bomber flew by a dying Elezar, who was suffocating and trying to signal for help, stopping and entering him into its hangar bay.
Elezar threw off his broken breather mask, catching his breath. He glances up, seeing a pink-haired man holding his hand out.
"We are the Gio'ai, from the planet Marga. We are searching for the one called Sesa." He says as Elezar passes in and out, slowly falling alseep.
