The Diary of a Casual Person

The Diary of a Casual Person

I feel like writing a diary. Then again, I'd have to collect my whole day, pretty much, and roll it into words. Boring! I also feel like having nice, short and sweet chapters. Yeah. This is a fictional diary of a casual person, Violet Clouds. It probably contains some things that happened to me, but not much. Cover art by me. No stealie the character, she's my copyrighted persona.

Chapter 2.
Rain Rain

Rain Rain

Hello diary.
I cheered to you yesterday because it was sunny and warm, but I'm only saying it today because it rained and rained all day.
It was lashing all day long.
I was hoping for the nice weather to last.
I got drenched while walking to school.
I tried to visit the library but my white umbrella nearly got blown away.
What a pity.
I was sad.
In case you want to see the rain I found a photo that looks just like today on Wikipedia.
I printed it out and glued it on your page.
I wish I could've done the photography myself but it was too wet to take the camera outside.

The only good think that happened to me were the pancakes.
I had them for breakfast, straight off the pan.
I has them with raspberry jam and that kept me through school.
Today was maths and I was pretty good, I got another B.

When I came home I got a text from my friend.
Not Adrianna, who went shopping with me yesterday.
Michelle, the friend who helped me during chemistry class.
She invited me over to her house so I grabbed my red wellies and red raincoat and ran.
Her house is just down the road.
We baked a few muffins and ate them drinking tea.
Michelle is a great cook.
She's trying to get into Masterchef Junior and I'm her manager.

We ate and drank and watched 'Rainbow Rocks'.
We like it, I like the nice Sunset Shimmer and Michelle likes the siren songs.
Then we took turns to hug her Rainbow Dash toy.
I have cuddly toys of my own, like Luna the husky or Mr Lizard the frilled lizard.
He's pocket-sized.

I came back home and put on a warm, navy sweater.
It has pink strings woven into it and it looks like raindrops.
I drank hot cocoa by the fireplace like in wintry movies.
It felt quite wonderful.
Before I fall asleep I'll cuddle into my favorite IKEA unique unicorn pillow.
Maybe today wasn't so bad after all.
