        I screamed. Azai was -- gone. The monster laughed. I felt rage bubble up inside me. Filling me. Fueling me. The rage blurred my thoughts. I couldn't think. All I knew is that I wanted -- needed to kill that monster. His warnings that I heard earlier, dissolved into nothing. Before I knew what I was doing, my knife was out of my pocket and in my hand. I leaped, stabbing the monster in his head.
