Chapter 2

When they got to the train station, they saw their father sitting on a bench with his suitcase, waiting for the train. "Dad!" yelled Marie and John Philip. John Philip and Marie go and sit on the bench with an old woman. "Hi," John Philip said. "Hello, children. Are you here to catch a train?" she replies. "No, we're just here to say goodbye to our dad," said Marie. "Oh, that's good. you would never want to get on a train here," said the old woman. "Why?" John Philip asked. "Well, about 20 years ago, someone in this train station was murdered," the old woman said. John Philip and Marie were very scared now. "By who?" Marie asked in a shaky voice. "Some people say it was the ghost of the train station," said the old woman. John Philip and Marie looked at each other with scared faces The woman went on and on with her story. "Okay, it's time for me to go," said their dad as he walked up to them.
They said goodbye to the woman. They hugged their dad goodbye and watched him disappear onto the train.
