An Attempted Escape
Julia started to run. But Taylor grabbed her arm. "Julia, wait! Stop!" "I can't put you in danger!" "There's a way to cure you!" "To kill myself!" Julia yelled twisting free. She bolted away as fast as possible, out the door and onto the streets. It was about 5 am. The sun was just starting to peer over the horizon, illuminating the landscape with golden light. Julia ran into her house and grabbed her pocket knife, and then cannoned into the forest.Julia finally collapsed, exhausted, underneath an oak. She couldn't run further. This was where she would do it. Underneath an oak, her mother's favorite tree. She pointed blade at her heart, and was ready to stab herself when a hand grabbed her hand before the point pierced her flesh. "You don't have to do that," a voice said.
