Forest x Athena

Missy

The next day Forest and Athena went to a 5 star restaurant to eat lunch. As soon as they got their table a female German Shepard came to their table, Forest remembered her! She was Missy.

"Missy!" Forest said jumping up. "I'm so happy to see you!"

When Forest was about to give Missy a hug, Athena made a noise loud enough so Forest could hear her.

"Oh!" Forest said.  "Athena, this is my no longer mate, Missy."

"Hi, Missy." Athena said. "My name is Athena, Forest's current and forever mate!"

"Charmed." Missy said. "Hey, Forest, I get off 6:00 wanna hang out?"

"Sorry." Forest said. "I'm with Athena now, I won't be seeing you anything soon, or forever."

"You mean you want to be with her?" Missy asked in disgust. "she is so-"

"Lemme stop you right there!" Forest said. "I'm sorry, Athena is the right female German Shepard for me, I'm so sorry, Missy."

"Here is my phone number just in case." Missy said giving it to him. "See you later."

Forest put her number in his jacket pocket. As soon as Athena saw him do that she stood up angrily.

"Why did you put her number in your pocket?" Athena asked furiously.

Forest quickly took the number out.

"How did that get in here?" Forest asked. "I was going to throw it away when Missy isn't looking."

"You wasn't going to do that." Athena said sitting back down in her chair. "do you still have feelings for Missy?"

"Maybe." Forest replied. "Kind of. Okay, fine, I still do love Missy."

"How could you, Forest?" Athena asked in tears. "last night you told me that you loved me and only me, was that fake?"

"Athena, I can explain." Forest said.

"Just don't talk to me, Forest" Athena said with her head down crying. "I thought you loved me, I was wrong."

Feeling guilty, Forest ran and jumped on the stage. He asked one of the singers if he could sing, as soon as they said yes, Forest grabbed a microphone then asked to play a certain song.

"I would like to sing a song tonight." Forest said. "this song is for a pretty German Shepard, her name is Athena. Athena, you are the only one for me. This song is called Count on me by Bruno Mars."


"If you ever found yourself stuck in the middle of the sea, I'll sail the world to find you." Forest sang. "if you ever found yourself in the dark and you can't see, I'll be light to guide you."

Athena looked up with a big smile on her face, she wiped her tears then saw Missy coming towards her.

"Did you noticed that Forest is up there singing a beautiful song just for me?" Athena asked. "not to brag."

"Yes." Missy said, annoyed. "You can have him, I didn't even like him that much anyway."

As soon as Missy scoffed and walked away, Athena continued to listen to Forest.

"You'll always have my shoulder when you cry." Forest sang. "I'll never let go, never say goodbye, you can count on me like one, two, three, I'll be there. And when I know when I need it I can count on you like four, three, two you'd be there. That's what mates are suppose to do oh yeah!"

Athena couldn't help it but look at Missy. She was getting cups and smashing them on the floor, Athena turned away to look at Forest. As soon as Forest was done he came over to Athena.

"Oh, Forest, that was so sweet!" Athena said smiling. "thank you so much!"

"Thanks." Forest said. "now lets get something to eat."
