Chapter 2.

I never got to love you

It was warm, spring, when Max walked into her first day in Highschool. She looked around, happy. She excitedly embraced the situation. But she was terrified at the same time. She saw the heads of kids her age bobbing around. A loud chatter moving through the halls with the students.
Max made her way to the locker she was assigned, when someone bumped into her, she turned around, not seeing who it was at first. The 5'11 girl looked around, then down. Seeing the pale white haired boy on the ground. She offered him a hand up, and smiled at him. "Sorry." She apologised, as he rubbed his back. "It's okay. It was my fault, actually." Sibuna smiled sheepishly. His crimson eyes gleaming.
"I love your eyes!" Max exclaimed, he smiled again, giving a thanks.
"Yours are pretty too." He winked, blushing red, then he ran off.
Max heard the bell and rushed off as well.

A few weeks later

Max walked the halls, searching for a place to eat lunch, when she heard a small cry coming from the boys bathroom. She walked in, knocking slightly. "Hello?" She asked. "I'm coming in." She warned.
She saw the white haired boy sitting in the corner, crying into his lunch. He stopped when she came in, wiping tears off of his cheeks.
"Are you okay?" She asked, sitting next to him. He smiled, and nodded.
"I doubt that." She nudged him, leaning over to him.
" I don't want to talk about it." He said, trying not to grin.
"Then we'll just talk. I like your hair. It's fuzzy." She said, touching it.
"Thanks." He said giggling.
"Have you gotten your words?" She asked suddenly. He nodded.
"You?" He asked back.
"Yeah. Confusing ones though. Anyways, what's your name? I'm maxima. But call me Max."
"I'm sibuna. Nice to meet you max."
She smiled and stretched her arms.
"Alright Sibby. What's up with the eyes?" She asked, and then he froze.
"You... you..." he stopped, and began crying again.
"What's wrong?! What did I say?!" She asked, alarmed and worried.
And then the gun cocked.
"Goodbye Max. I love you." He whispered.
"Bang."
