Chapter 4.

The journey onward.

We saddle up the next day, riding in a single file, the ranger leading the way with the map. We were making good progress until those bloody pixies showed up. We were just hit a fork in the road when these things start messing with our hair, and start tying up the horses legs, so we dismount and then they started stealing small things from our satchels, so I started thwacking them away from me and the horse. I then start to feel sharp pains in my neck and ankles as they start stabbing me. Sarah tries to  talk them down while the bard casts some sort of glitter spell that falls on their wings, it is heavy for them apparently because they fall down and we are left alone for the rest of the day. We stop and camp for the night a few miles upwards in the forest, then they came. It was at the end of my shift, I headed over to change spots when i was clubbed over the head, several times I might add, and tied to a branch and led off into the forest.
I woke up as we were half way there and was being carried by smaller versions of lizard folk, not much smaller. but noticeably. We arrive at these caves where the others are awoken and we are unbound and led into a chamber. Inside were two guards, we tried to speak with them but they did not seem to understand common tongue. We waited for what seemed to be about an hour until their cheiftian, Argnack blood-eye, called us into his "Throne room", where using his clan shaman who had a small understanding of common, Told us that one of us was going to represent us in the arena to fight for our freedom against their clan champion. I Knew I was the best fighter of the party. "I'll go" I said, the rest knew I was their only hope.
I rest up for the night and in the morning they give me a club instead of my sword. This will make me fare a little worse but I can deal with it. I walk out into the arena and see my opponent for the first time. He at first seems to be a lizard folk on a massive Pesh dose. We face off at each other, trying to find any obvious weaknesses. Then the starting Gong rung.
