Chapter 2.
Nature

Nature

The night is not black
Though people make it so
The sun's bright light
Make's the moon seem to glow

Wild flowers have just as much beauty
As that of a rose
A flower is a flower
No matter where it grows

Fruit is nature's gift
We are very thankful
For the biggest elephant on the land
To the sea's smallest barnacle

Humanity is recent
In Earth's timeline
We've caused so much damage
Earth is far from it's prime

Nature has some joy
Making snowballs is fun
Though some prefer
Playing in the sun

Cliffs to canyons
Earth has it all
From creatures that can fly
To creatures that have to crawl

From two legs to two hundred legs
We have creature's of all kinds
One species: Humans
Rely more on their minds

Humans are the most dominant
Of everything everywhere
They can stomp on homes
Without a care

But you can't blame a race
For what some have done
Destroying nature
Affects everyone

But instead of being mad
Go out and plant a tree
You can watch it grow
And gaze at it's beauty
