I nod.

"Well, while he was here we made a deal."

What? Toby? No this -F-er is lying!

"And that deal was to join me."

I look down and I feel tears coming out but I fight back.

"Now, his dark side is with me and I ask you."

I look up at him.

"Will you join me?"

Reader's POV:

Join him please over my dead body!

"NO!" I shouted.

Zalgo eyes flashed a bloody red color. He lifted up his hands and him lifted me up in the result.

"Do you want your friends to die?"
"N-No", I groaned out.
"Then be with me."

I felt my energy heating up in my body.

"NO!!!"

I shot out a red light on him which was fire. He acted to slow and it burned him leaving me falling down and running out the room down the hall ignoring his shouting words. I have to find them.

I come across a wooden door that has a small window of bars. I look into the small window and see that it's dungeon. I hesitated about going inside until I heard Shadow Toby coming. So, in the result, I went inside and hid.

EJ's POV:
I heard someone come in but I didn't want to see.

"H-hello?" The person said and in instant, I recognized that voice. It was (y/n).

"(y-y/n)?" Clockwork sputtered out.
"Clocky?"
"(y/n)!"

I got up ignoring my pain and saw her. She's alive!

"Oh, (y/n) we knew you could do it!"
"Yeah, yeah but now sshh, Toby's shadow is trying to find me."
"Okay, can you get us out?"
"Sure where is everyone else?"

Like on cue Jeff responded." Having a blast getting locked up."

"Shut up Jeff," said Jane almost on the verge of tears.
"Here I'll get you guys out." She said and melted the bars with her hands.

"Thank you," I said giving her a hug.

She returned the hug and melted everyone free.

"Okay, first thing's first we can't go to the death tunnel because Zalgo has an army waiting for us."
"Okay then let's go to the other tunnel."
"There is no other tunnel other than that one Masky."
"What do you mean?"
"That tunnel leads towards the gateway from here to our world there isn't any way through that."
"So what you're trying to say (y/n) is that in order to leave this hell we need to go fight even though we might die."
"Yes, EJ."
"Fine, let's get ready."

Toby's POV:

We went near the death tunnel where the nearest entrance is to get into the castle. The plan was to take out the guards quietly then charge in the castle securing it all until we find the others.

"Hey Toby, what if (y/n) already got out and is trying to find the others?"
"We-ell, if she did BEN then you need to go f-find he-er."
"What? Why me?"
"Because since she's like an en-nergy jar you can sense i-it."
"You got a point there, sir."

The whole group separated into groups to make it easier for us to fight. I was with BEN and The Puppeteer. The others were surrounding the castle and killing the guards. We, on the other hand, were heading inside to find everyone. Lazari was already in the castle trying to distract Zalgo.

"Okay, I have your lady's location."
"Alright let's go."

Reader's POV:

I was really happy that I found them but I knew that it was to early to celebrate. Plus, Toby must've called in a search and rescue party for us. So, with that thought we were trying to find them.

"I'm pretty sure we're gonna get caught and killed."

"This is no time to think negative Jeff."

Jeff rolled his eyes at Clockwork.

" Hey, guys if you keep on arguing we are going to get caught now sshh." I snapped. Once I said this I tripped and bumped into something that I couldn't make out of and it fell down making a loud noise.

At this moment I knew I -F-ed up

I looked up and heard another thud and as I turned to look back at the others they looked around to see if it came from one of them but no. As we were getting ready to defend ourselves from whoever made that noise a shadow came.

" Hey I found them!" it yelled.

I lifted my hands that were already glowing red but Jane stopped me.

"No, its a friend!" she said running to it.

Soon we all did and as I got close to some light I saw the person who was the shadow. It was Zero.

"I'm so glad you found us."
"Yeah well, we're best friends forever."

Jane and Zero hugged for a moment then she led us to the group that was helping with our rescue but I didn't see Toby.

"Hey, isn't Toby supposed to be with you guys?" I asked.
"Well, he was looking for you with another group but, we ended finding you," replied Zero.
"Okay, uh, I'm going to go find him then."

Masky looked at me in shock.

"(y/n) I don't think that's a good idea."
"Why not?"
"What if you caught again?"
"Then I'll fight that's what. Masky you don't need to worry about me I'll be fine. He'd do the same for me."

Still, Masky didn't look certain so I gave him a hug.

"I promise I'll be careful and if for any reason I get in trouble I know that you'll come to help me."

We ended the hug.

"Okay." was all he said.

I smiled a half smile and ran to the opposite hallway and start to see if I can sense anyone. I didn't until I saw a shadow. I ducked down in the dark trying to make out who it was. Once the person got close to some light that was provided by a torch on the way I saw that it was Toby. I squealed inside but then I remember that there are two of him. So, I got up quickly and once he saw me I slammed him into the wall with his hands behind his back.

"(y-y/n) p-p-leas-s-e s-top-p!" he cried.

I released him now knowing that it was him.

"Sorry, it's just that I had to be sure that it was you. Your demon doesn't stutter or is anything like you really."

He laughed a bit. Oh, how I missed his laugh.

We hugged but I also remembered something else he was in a search group.

Toby's P.O.V.

" Are w-we close?" I asked BEN.

"Almost Toby." replied Puppeteer.

"Hey, she should be right here." BEN whispered to him pointing to the direction.

Excitedly I ran to it but and I saw her but she was hugging, me?

Oh, no. My demon.

She looked like she was going to say something.

"Wait, Zero told me you were-." she was cut off.

That unfaithful demon of mine kissed her and instead of releasing she let him do it. I was so shocked that I didn't move a muscle.

"W-why don'-t-t we g-go with th-e-e other-s?" he said.
"Yeah we should before we get caught."

And like that they left.

"Toby," BEN said," I'm sorry."

I ignored him. It wasn't her fault he was tricking her.

"We need-d to save everyon-e now."

Okay okay, how did you like that chapter? Um, next one will probabaly come in two weeks or less. I need to figure out my homework schedule and school and family time too. So yeah I back in school kind of bummed but it's all good. I really hope you guys keep on reading this fanfic it's mostly the one that I stress about writing but hey you guys like this one so YAY!!!
