Demon's hour- short horror story!

The dream.

"Goodnight!" I heard my parents say as I went to my room. Intuniv- check. Melatonin- check. I should be able to sleep tonight.

I was wrong. After hours of waiting for my weary eyes to close and my mind sleep, I failed. I heard some whispers in my head, assumed it was a prank from Sam (the family ghost), and went to sleep later.

I had my usual, trippy dream at first. Oh god, I was wrong. After I ended up winning, like usual, the dream became black. It was like I was awake with my eyes closed, but I knew for a FACT I was asleep. I saw some figures, then they had red auras after fading-

The only way I knew they were there.

I forced myself to wake, but I couldn't move. I could blink and face both directions, but I was stuck curled up in a ball. I wanted to scream, I even tried. My mouth made no sound, then didn't move.

After what felt like hours of struggling, I could finally move. I whispered, "why are you here!?"

No reply.

I kept asking, and asking, and after a bit, we had a casual conversation, as if it never happened.

Then I decided to ask how they died... Bad idea.

Instantly, I froze again, and ached everywhere. I forced my head down, closed my eyes, and prayed for it to end. Luckly, it did. And I checked the time, and knew how long this was happening.

I fell to sleep at 12:00 pm, and it was now around 1:00 am, or was it 2:00? I'm not sure.

These hauntings still contenue, but with mild pain.
