Chapter 3: Background info you need to know
So nothing interesting happens while I’m asleep, so I’m going to give you some background information. My grana hates my mother and me with a burning passion. My mother was brought up pretty rural like with animals and wide open space. While on the other hand, my dad was raised in a not-so free environment. Everything in the house was pristine and white and he was not allowed to have any imagination whatsoever. The house had no sort of TV! They only listened to an old fashioned radio for news! So how did two completely different people meet? Well my dad taught a class and they took a trip to where my mom was to examine wildlife and all that jazz. Well my mom and dad met up and fell in love. I’m going to skip the baby-making because this is for kids. My mom liked living with us as a family but desperately missed her horse Biscuit. And a couple months ago when I received the presidential award at my school for community service, my parents bought me my very first horse! I named him Leo after my favorite artist, Leonardo Da Vinci. But sadly, Grana didn't approve of the “equestrian trash” so we had to take him back. Nana also has this extreme fear of horses for some reason unknown. The only two people in the world my Grana DOES NOT dislike is my brother Todd and my dad. She didn't even like her own husband! Rumor has it that they slept in separate rooms on their honey moon! Jeez!
