Ch. 6
Once again, Naruto was creating mischief. This time, he painted the faces of the previous Hokages. In class, Yui knew his plan. He always told her his plans. Everyone in the class was snickering.'Well, he's at it again!' Yui wrote, showing Hinata with a smile.
Just then Naruto was put at the front of the room. Iruka was scolding the poor kid. He gave him the punishment of cleaning up his mess. Once again everyone snickered. That is until they heard these word:
"Because you skipped, everyone will review the transformation Jutsu!" Iruka yelled.
Everyone groaned, except Yui. To be honest, she didn't really mind this. Sasuke was first a good replica of Iruka. Sakura did just as well. Naruto's turn= disaster.
"Transform!" He shouts out.
There before everyone was a naked female version of Naruto. Yui's hands fly to her eye. Innocent, yes, embarrassed, yes. Oh, you don't know about what happened to her eye. A couple years ago, Yui's eye was accidentally stabbed out. So now she wears one of those medical eye patch thingies. Because of Naruto's Jutsu, Iruka-sensei had a nosebleed. As well as Kaito, who in fact was just as innocent as Yui.
"Naruto, change back! You gross perv! Look what you did to Yui-chan!" A classmate yells.
Another thing, Yui-chan is popular with the males. And of course, Sasuke is popular with the females. Naruto changes back. He runs to Yui, begging for forgiveness. Naruto didn't have feelings for Yui in that way, she was his first and only friend. At least, so he thought. The review continued yadda yadda yadda.
"Alright everyone, as you know the test to determine your becoming ninja is soon. Please practice to prepare for this. You are dismissed." Iruka announces.
Yui exited the room, Naruto by her side. He always made the girl laugh. Yui is 11, while everyone else is 12. So if Yui graduates, she'd be the youngest ninja in her class. She arrives home, Kakashi was busy with a mission. He should be back in a few days. She practiced the clone Jutsu, the transform Jutsu, and a healing Jutsu. She was to be a healing ninja, so she might have two tests.
*Timeskip because reasons!*
The day of the graduation test, Yui was super hyped. But, woke up late. She bursts through the door, the heads of her fellow classmates turn their heads to her. Yui jumps up to her seat next to Sasuke. Well, it wasn't her seat, but it was the only open seat. It was Naruto's turn at the moment. He leaves the room, his face sad. Yui entered for her test. Er, tests.
"Alright Yui, first you need to do the clone Jutsu. Then afterwards, do a healing Jutsu on that cat next to you." Iruka instructs her.
She did as told. She made a few too many clones. And the cat was just fine after being healed. So she passed. She tied her headband to her thigh. She left the room. With a sigh, she sat down in the seat next to Naruto. The seat next to Sasuke was taken, leaving the seat next to Naruto. She noticed he didn't have a headband. She dug through her satchel. She gave him a wooden kunai with the village symbol. Outside, she sat with the sad boy. She heard the parents of her classmates gossiping about Naruto. An irk mark grew on her head. She stood up from the root of the tree she sat on.
"Oi! Don't talk about Naru-chan behind his back! You're just jealous he's so confident about becoming Hokage! It will happen. I'll help him reach that goal, okay you old hags!?" Yui yells at the large group.
The people stomped away from the academy, angry with the word they were called. Then Mitsuki walked to them. Yui never trusted this man.
"Yui, may I speak to Naruto alone?" The tall man asks.
She hesitantly walked away. Yui walked home. Arriving she saw her tiger sleeping on the couch. She poked the large cat to awaken him. He woke up and reluctantly got off the couch. The Kakashi walked out of the bathroom. Yui threw a chair at him. Why? He was butt-naked. Yui's face was bright red and her eye was closed tightly. After the whole incident, they went to a ramen shop as a celebration for Yui's graduation.
*Timeskip because logic*
It's the day of being assigned a team. And guess who's late! That's right Yui is! She barges in and holds back laughter. Why, you ask? Sasuke and Naruto are kissing. Yui can't hold it back. Her laughter is heard by everyone. She has tears in her eyes.
"Oi, Yui, don't laugh at me! That was gross!" Naruto and Sasuke yell at her.
'But, it's so funny! I never thought that could happen in a million years!' Yui wrote sloppily, due to her laughter.
"SHUT UP!"
The girls then surrounded Naruto and attempted to beat him up. After the whole fiasco, Sakura sat between Naruto and Sasuke, Yui sat behind. Up in the front of the classroom, was Iruka and a few Jounin. Yui grew an eager grin upon her face.
"Alright, I'll be assigning teams now." Iruka announces.
"Team 7: Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno,-
"Yay!/I'm doomed..." Naruto cheered while Sakura mourned.
"Sasuke Uchiha,-"
"Yay!/I'm doomed..." Sakura cheered while Naruto mourned.
"And Yui Souma."
"Yay!" Sakura and Naruto cheered.
"Wait. Why does a great ninja like me have to be in a team with a teme like sasuke?" Naruto asks obviously angered.
"Because, Sasuke had one of the best scores, while you had the worst score."
Naruto glares at Sasuke. Yui let's out a giggle. Then she realizes something.
"Yui, you and Kaname had the same scores as Sasuke."
Everyone stares at Yui and Kaname. Yui acted like an airhead sometimes. Kaname was always busy with stuff. Team 8 and 9 were named. Team 8 contains Kiba, Shino, Hinata and Kaito. Team 9 contains Ino, Shikamaru, Choji and Kaname. Why are these teams of 4? Kaito and Kaname fight often, and it always gets physical. And Yui can't use weapons as you know.
*Timeskip because I don't wanna go through the process of the lunch.*
Yui sat in her seat carving wood, which she did when bored. Her new teammates were sitting with her waiting on their new sensei. Only Yui knew who it was. Ka-chan is late once again, she thought with a sigh. A mischivous grin grew on Naruto's face. He grabbed an eraser.
"Naruto. What are you doing?" Sakura asks sternly.
"Our sensei is late, so let him get pranked." Naruto explains.
"Naru-chan, he's gonna call you an idiot." Yui says, knowing Naruto is paying attention.
"How do you know?" Sasuke asks.
"Because-"
Just then the door opens and the eraser falls on Kakashi's head. Naruto celebrates, Yui facepalms and Sakura tries to sweet talk out of trouble. Kakashi looked at them. He glanced at Yui and saw she had nothing to do with the incident.
"My impression of you is... you are all idiots." Kakashi states.
Yui hits the back of Kakashi's head. Her fellow teammates gave her a look of shock. There was a grown man being scolded by a pre-teen. Not only that he's apologizing, and Yui is giggling.
"What the heck just happened!?" The three other ninja yell.
"Hm?" Kakashi hums.
'I was trying to say earlier that he's my guardian. Baka!' Yui shows her allies.
"N... NO WAY!!" Naruto yells," You look nothing a like!"
'How do you know? Ka-chan is wearing a mask. But, he's my guardian due to several reasons...'
Everyone was dead panned. Kakashi and Yui gave them a look of confusion. Was it really that hard to realize? Kakashi requests for everyone to meet on the roof of the building, then he disappears with smoke left behind. Seconds later, Yui joins him. The other genin run up the stairs of the building. When they got there, Yui was carving wood and Kakashi was reading a book. An irk mark was found on Sakura and Naruto's heads.
"Alright everyone, let's start with introductions." Kakashi states.
"What do you mean?" Sakura asks.
"Well, your names, likes and dislikes, hobbies and dreams."
"You go first then!" Naruto yells.
"Fine. My name is Kakashi Hatake. My likes and dislikes... I don't feel like telling. I have many hobbies. And a dream, I never thought about the future."
"All we found out was his name" Sakura states a bit disappointed.
"Yui-chan, you first."
'Fine. My name is Yui 'Souma' Hatake. I enjoy many things and dislike rude people. I have quite a few hobbies, which I don't feel like telling. My dream is to help as many as I can, without violence.' Yui shows to the group.
"Your next blondie."
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki! I like the ramen Iruka-sensei buys me. I hate waiting the three minutes. And my dream is to become the best Hokage! Believe it!"
"Pinkie?"
"My name is Sakura Haruno. What I like is, er, the person I like is... AHHHHH! And my hobbies are... AHHHHHH! My dream is... AIIEEEEEEEEEE!... I hate Naruto."
Yui swore she saw an arrow go through his heart and it looks like he's in a block of ice...
"And you?"
"Sasuke Uchiha. I don't like anything and dislike most things. I don't really have any hobbies. My dream will be reality, I will kill someone and revive the Uchiha clan."
Yui looks at her friend with sad eyes. She goes up to him, hugs him for a moment and gives him a small smile. He just stared at her and eventually gave a smirk in response. Sakura? Well, she's jealous. Then Yui goes to the edge of the building. She waved good-bye and fell backwards. Everyone ran to the side and saw Yui perfectly fine on her feet and watched her run off.
"So tomorrow, meet me at the training grounds at 5 am. We'll be doing a test. Understood?" Kakashi explains.
"Yes!"The three remaining ninja say.
*With Yui-chan and her POV*
After hugging Sasuke, I ran off. Why, do you ask? I had to meet... someone. I stand in the middle of a clearing in the woods. Then the men come out. One charges at me. I jump up to escape that. Another member grabs my arm. I don't struggle, I know what's happening. I won't cry or run.
"We knew you'd come. Now pay your consequences." The leader commands.
I put my arms at my sides, relaxed. It'll hurt less. I receive a punch to the face. It kinda stung. I get kicked in the stomach, blood falls from my mouth. I'm on the floor gripping my stomach. The glove I wear was torn off my left hand. I try grabbing for it. Why? My hand is the reason... It is like a skeleton hand. I grab it and get pushed to the ground.
