Made by disney, it was based of a book with the same name. The story is about how a circus comes to town and the circus has magic/evil powers in it. They movie fouses on two kids. They movie has a tripping may-go-round scene, an electiction scene, and a beautiful bride slowly turning into a dead body. They also have one of the boys be killed by having his head being cut off in front of the other boy, and they other boy has to sleep in a room full of deadly spiders. And the circus as wishes granted but the wishes have catches. If you want to be beautiful, but then you'll turn blind. If you want to be around beautiful women, you will be turned into one. And you have to stay with the circus forever.
I don't see why this was made for children, because my mom saw this and she is scared of this to this day, and she's 51.
