MENINISM vs MEN'S RIGHTS ACTIVISM
MENINISMMeninism is a fake movement to poke fun at radical feminists and "tumblr feminists". Meninism statements are jokes, reversing the roles on misandrist statements that "feminists" on social media post.
Example: John found a tweet on Twitter that said "Men are gross! We should cut off all their penises! #Feminism". He scrolled further down and found a tweet that showed that people have double standards. It said: "Women are gross! We should cut up all their vaginas! #Meninism". He knew this tweet WAS NOT SERIOUS, just showing that people have double standards.
MEN'S RIGHTS ACTIVISM
Men's Rights Activism is a real movement focusing on men's issues such as male suicide rates, female on male abuse rates, and things of other nature. MRAs take what they do seriously.
Example: Harrison volunteers to take calls at a male abuse hotline. After doing this for a while, he begins donating for charities that help with men's problems. After a white of doing this, he becomes interested in other men's issues. He continues to call himself a Men's Rights Activist.
