Early snow
Zidern was awake early around 1 AM and was watching the news with the TV volume on low so he had to be close to the TV to hear anything "Hmmm... Early snow in September" Zidern tried to contain his excitement and not squeak since he loved playing in the snow as a kid, he rushed over to neon who was still asleep "Neon" he whispered "mmm...." She turned on her side facing away "Neon" he spoke louder and shook her "whaaaat...." She murdered "it's snowing outside" "snow!" She shot up "cmom let's go" "don't we need splinters permission or at least on of the turtles?" He asked "right" she said and walked over to mikey who was barely awake "yo.... Dude..." He dosed off "Mikey" she shook him "I'm up I'm up!" He looked at her "what do you want?"He yawned showing he obviously wasn't a morning person like the rest of his brothers except donny who was usually up till 3 AM doing expirements and reading "wanna come with us so we can go play in the snow" "oh I love snow! Snowball fights, igloos, and all things chill because its cold!" He chuckled at his not so great pun "let's go" Zidern squeaked from behind neon, Neons tail had wrapped around him without her noticing "Neon?" He said "yes?"
"You're tails wrapped around me...." His face was bright red "oh! Sorry" she said unwrapping her tail from him "its fine" he said and followed mikey to the exit "and were do you think you are going?" Splinter said walking out from his room "oh uh master splinter we uh" "we want to go outside and play in the snow" Neon spoke for the tongue tied mikey "hmmm...." Splinter stroked his beared "please" squeaked zidern once again behind Neon, his eyes met his and he thought for a moment
"Alright, I will allow you three to go" "yeah alright!" Mikey jumped up "But!" "Aw.... There's the but...." Zidern chuckled "b-" he stopped himself "you will be allowed to go so long as I may accompany you, I miss seeing the sky at times" "alright then its settled" Neon said, Splinter led them all outside and took them to the park, he sat down in a spot that let him see them all at once, he took a moment to look at Zidern and Neon sensing their deep connection to each other "hmmm...." "Yay snowman!"
Zidern helped roll the middle ball onto the first large one "Snowball attack suckas" mikey came in hurling snowballs at them "Hey!" Neon hurled several back "AH!" Mikey got nailed in the face and fell back in the snow "Snow Angel!" He flailed around, Neon and Zidern looked at eschother "Wanna get him?" She asked "yup!" They both pounced on him "AAAAAH"he screamed as they grabbed him and started turning him into a mikeycicle, Splinter couldn't help but smile seeing that they were enjoying themselves
"Oh very funny!" Mikey was now a snowman "its missing something" Neon said "I'm on it" Zidern hopped up and wrapped his own scarf around him and added a tophat, Mikey was unamused and not happy at all since he was never used to being pranked himself "you guys are gonna get me out right?" "We will" Raph and the others showed up "Hey look a dumbcicle" raph laughed at mikey "shut up!"
"Er..." Her face turned red "what?" He looked up at her "n-nothing" "I'm just warming up using you since you have more fur than me" "o-oh" her face turned a brighter shade "that's f-fine I guess" Mikey saw them hugging and was about to crack a joke about them like he would with Donny and April when Raph, donny and Leo saw what he was gonna do and hit him with a barrage of snowballs to shut him up "Ga-" mikey got a face full of snow from donny "Don't even think about it mikey" Zidern let go of her "that's better, I'm all warm again" "good" her blush faded looking down at him, he jumped onto the rim of the fountain "bring it!" He yelled and mikey got him dead center of the face, he flailed, Mikey's eyes widened as did Neons [oh please don't fall in!!!] They thought "AHHH" He fell in with a splash as the water wasn't cold enough to freeze but was cold enough to give someone a nasty case of hypothermia
He climbed out soaking wet shivering and sneezing, splinter stood up signaling the fun was over "Everybody back home now!" Mikey was the first to leave feeling guilty "A-achoo!" Neon picked him up and ran back to the sewers with them, after a few minutes they were back inside "Choo!" He sneezed again as Neon grabbed a towel and dried him off "itll be okay" [I hope....] She wrapped a blanket around the shivering zidern removing his soaking wet scarf, Donny ran a few tests "It isn't looking so good..." "What is it" "Mild hypothermia, his body temperature dropped when he was wet and it really affected him with the lack of fur" "thermal blanket!" She said and mikey brought her one "S-sorry..." She scowled at him and wrapped it around Zidern
"Choo!" He sneezed again and coughed "it's gonna be okay Zid" she held him "get him some hot coco or chicken noodle soup, any warm liquids will really help warm him up" Donny said, Leo brought some soup for him "Come on Zid..." She gave him some since he was shaking too much to even hold a spoon, he swallowed a bit and sneezed again, Neon was petting him trying to keep him warm
After a short bit Zidern had stopped shivering and went to sleep "Looks like he's gonna have a nasty cold for a few days..." Donny said returning to his room, Neon sat there for several minutes holding him wrapped in a blanket, she got up and took him to their room and laid down with him, she was watching him sleep [poor thing....] She couldn't help herself but she leaned in and kissed his forehead blushing insanely, his ears flicked and she thought he was waking but dismissed it after he didn't, she held him close to her and started to drift off to sleep [get well soon...] She thought
