Cold Hearted

Markus's Point Of View

Glaring at these girls, I thought long and hard about how I should approach the circumstances. From the look of the knife Lilliuth held towards me, I knew they knew everything about me. Maybe about my sister, too. With a grin rising from my face, I began to work on gaining their trust.

"Hey, guys. Y'all need to come with me so.." I was interrupted by a angry girl's scream.
"Do you seriously think we are coming with you?! After bringing us here?" Holding the knife towards me, Lilliuth glared at me with anger in her brown eyes.
"Danni, who is it?" (Karuka)
"Markus! Stay away from us!" (Danni shaking)
"I agree with Danni. I don't want to hurt you." Lilliuth started running at me with the knife fiercely in her hand.
"No!! Don't do it!" (Asami)

Jumping back, I watched as her amateur attacks swung at me from every direction. Her blonde hair blew every where on her head while her brown eyes had a glimpse of fear. Tired of dodging, I grabbed her pale wrists and held her arms in the air.

"Let go of me!" (Lilliuth)
"Just be quiet." I grabbed the knife out of her hand and threw it across the room.
"He is telling the truth. Markus would rather help than kill." (Asami)
"So you are going to help us?" (Mary)
"I would like to. Their plan is cruel." (Me)
"How can we trust you?" (Danni)
"I only want to help." (Me)
"He sound like he means it." (Karuka)
"Yes I do! Please just trust me." (Me)

As I tried to smile to demonstrate my kindness, I felt a hand squeeze my shoulder. Looking over, I saw Mme smiling ear to ear with her beautiful appearance sparkly throughout the room. No. I should of figured she would follow me. I felt my body shake in fear watching her devilish smile rise.

"Good job. You actually came in handy this time." Mme said while pointing a 9 millimeter pistol at the girls
"I knew it! You giant liar!" (Lilliuth)
"Better you stay quiet." (Me)
"Dang. The mess we are in now." (Mary)
"Now. Now. Silence. Markus, get the young girls in line. You will stand in the front while I stand in the back." (Mme)

I shook my head and started to do Mme's orders. As I grabbed Lilliuth's arm, I felt the hateful gaze pouring through her eyes. The cruel thing I am doing ate away at my very soul. How could I do something so bad as to lead these beautiful girls to their own graves? Shoving Lilliuth against the wall, I preceded to grab Mary. After shoving Mary, I stood beside Danni and Karuka when I heard my sister's mischievous voice.

"Leave the blind girl at the end."

Nodding my head, I grabbed Danni by the arm and wrapped my hand around Karuka's hand. Both girls shook in fear, but I could not do anything for them. Why could I not stand up to my sister? I have no right to call myself a man. After putting the girls in line, I guided them down the hall. As we walked, I realized just how much of the blood on the walls was because of me. All my fault. The death of so many people. Walking down the stairs, I smelled the awful odor of death creeping through the first floor. Who could it be?

Walking into the awful smelling room, I saw well I am not sure. The body appeared to had its arms cut from him while his chest was burnt. Cut marks were cut deep inside the face. Looking around the room, I saw S-28P, X-L38, and Bloodie laying against the wall.

"Like how S-28P and I did? Does not even look like a guy." (X-L38)
"It is pretty good work. Now get the rope. We have to tie them up." (Mme)
"Where is Samekichi?" (Me)
"He went to get the others ready for his plan." (Bloodie) "It is going to be amazing! With so much death!!"
"You monsters!!" Lilliuth yelled.
"Markus told you to be quiet." Mme grabbed Lilliuth's small pale arm and threw her fiercely against the wall.

Blood exploded from the inside of her mouth as Lilliuth tried to catch her breath. With an evil smile continually growing, Mme walked to the cabinets and grabbed a large sewing needle and fishing line. A dark arrangement of thoughts emerged from my inner conscious. Finally, for once in our lives Mme and my thoughts were at one. In her insane mind, I knew what she was doing, and I couldn't stop her.

"Bloodie, come hold her down." (Mme)

Bloodie pulled her purple hair out of her face as she wrapped her pale arms around Lilliuth's small body. Lilliuth squirmed and fought to try and escape from Bloodie, but she was not strong enough. Sitting on top of her, Mme placed the metal sewing needle against Lilliuth's bottom lip. With a quick push, the metal sewing needle pierced Lilliuth's bottom lip. Blood ran down her chin while Lilliuth screamed as the fishing line ran through the bottom of her lip. Mme continued to pierce the screaming Liliuth's lips as Mme slowly sewed her lips shut. The blood and screaming pain made my heart sink. Why couldn't I do anything?

Up down. Up down. Up down. Mme continued to sew Liliuth's mouth as Lilliuth's screaming stopped. Lilliuth's mouth were sewed shut. The fishing line in her lips covered in bright red blood.

"You were warned to be quiet." Mme laughed kicking Lilliuth in the face.

Hatto's Point Of View

Running down the hallway, I felt my heart beating in all different speeds as Mukri's hand entangled with mine. Entering a room, we all tried to catch our breathe while Adrienne glared at the walls. Walking up to the wall, she knocked on the wall. The wall slid open revealing several various guns and knives.

"Guys, I think we have a chance to win this game." (Adrienne)
"How?" (Aleasha)
"Traps, traps, and oh did I mention traps?" (Adrienne)
"What do you have in mind?" (Me)
"First, someone will stay behind the door with a knife to kill intruders." (Adrienne)
"What if one of us comes in? How will we know not to kill them?" (Mukri)
"Knock three times. Second, we will use the thin metal ropes while one side is connected to a shotgun. When someone triggers it, boom. Then, if there is more than one, we will put another one a little bit away from the first one." (Adrienne)
"What if the girls trigger it?" (Me)
"You don't have to worry with that." (???)

Looking where the voice came from, a transparent girl stood there. With her see through appearance, her long hair laid gracefully on her shoulders while her dress lightly blew. Her eyes had emotions of sad leaking from them. A GHOST? What is she doing? Yes, I have gone crazy.

"What are you?!" (Aleasha)
"I am Asami. My family lived here and was murdered during this game, but your friends are in danger." (Asami)
"Danger?" (Mukri)
"They captured them." (Asami)
"Well changing plan. Aleasha come with me. We will sent the traps and lure them to the traps. Asami, will you help?" (Adrienne)
"Yes. I will look out. Here." Asami walking to the wall. "Knock on the door. A secret passageway will open that not even the killers know. Good luck guys." Asami disappearing.
"Aleasha, let's go." Adrienne grabbing a thin metal rope, two shotguns, and a knife. "Hatto, I trust you to protect Mukri."
"I promise." (Me)

Shaking her head, Adrienne's brown eyes glimmered in trust as she ran into the dark passageway. Aleasha took a deep breathe as she struggled to follow. A knock came from the other side as the passageway shut. Walking to the wall of knives, I grabbed one and locked the door. Looking at Mukri, her purple eyes surrounded with several levels of fear. Thinking hard, I tried to make the beautiful Mukri smile. Then, I heard my stomach growl in hunger. Perfect.

"Well I guess my stomach is saying it's hungry." I smiled.
"I wish we could find some food." (Mukri)
"Yeah." (Me)
"Yup." (Mukri)

Oh. No. Awkward moment of silence. What to talk about? I can't make her think I'm boring.

"So, what do you do for fun?" (Me)
"I like reading and hanging with the girls." (Mukri)
"Awesome! I have faith Adrienne can get us back to doing that." (Me)
"So, you really believe we can get out of this?" (Mukri)
"Of course. Can't give up until every opition is out." (Me)
"What about your brother? He hasn't arrived yet." (Mukri)
"I have faith he is ok." (Me)
"I like you. You never give up. I wish I could say that." (Mukri)
"Oh um well you know it's nothing." (Me)
"I'm serious. You have watched your friends die. I couldn't do that. I wouldn't be able to continue." (Mukri)
"Shin wanted to, but I told him it would not be worth it." (Me)
"You are a good person." (Mukri)
"Well I guess that makes two of us." I walked closer Mukri as my heart pounded against my rib cage.
"I wouldn't say that." (Mukri)
"I think you are, and I just met you." I hugged Mukri.

Her small body pressed against mine as I felt her heart beat. Her long purple hair felt soft on top of my fingers while the smell of roses lingered on Mukri. Pulling my face out off her shoulder, I realized how close our faces were to each other. How close our lips were. The chance arose for me to kiss her, but as I leaned in, I heard loud footsteps marching to us.
