What did we do to you?~ Cory's POV~

    I look at horror as kids cut Luci's long, red, beautiful hair. I walk over to stop them, only to find myself getting beat up by a couple of them. I kept fighting for the sake of my favorite and only sister. When it was over, my sister's hair was shoulder length. She cried, I comfort her. She was hurt all the time by kids our age. The funny thing is she has an imaginary friend. She told me he doesn't have a face and he wears a suit. Of course, I don't believe her. We are in the 4th grade, so Im surprised she has an imaginary friend. I take her to the nurses office. The nurse looked at us and scoffed. That's right, it's not just kids, it's adults too.
    My sister walked out the door. Worry grew in me. The funny thing is everything someone messes with my sister, someone dies. Everyone except our father. Recently he gave us a chemical, now our teeth are sharp and deadly. And about a month ago, Luci bled and a weapon formed from it. Our father smiled at this discovery. I follow my sister. We sit down in a tree. Her sobbing was all I heard. I pull her into a hug. She didn't deserve all this. What did we ever do to those pathetic people? At the end of the school day, we run. We run as fast as we can home.
    "Get bach here, Nife! We wanna teach you how to be cool." A kid called Mike yelled.
    We ran down an alley. Thank god it wasn't a dead end. We had ran to our favorite bakery, and we hid in one of the booths. Mike didn't see us run inside. We climb out from our hiding place. I look at the window and see a horrific sight. There on the ground was the kid who cut Luci hair. The horrifying part was, she was in a pool of her own blood. Next to her was a man in a suit. His skin is pale white, he has no face. I grab my sister's hand, I run home, pulling my sister along.
    "Ow, Cory, let go of my arm!" Luci whines.
    "Nope, there's a murderer on the loose. I ain't takin' any chances!" I yell at her
    When we get inside our home, our mother is crying. I touch her shoulder. She looks at us as if we killed a person. She slaps my hand from her shoulder.
    "G-get away f-from me! You. You monsters! Stay away from me!" She yells out.
    My heart feels like it stopped working. I look at the crying woman who I thought was my mother.
    "M-mama, what did we do? I don't understand." Luci says as our mother is crying out loud.
    "I said, stay back!" She yells out as she throws a pocket knife at us.
    "Mom! What the h*** are you doing? Are you trying to kill us!?" I shout as I grab the handle of the knife.
    She screamed and ran out of the house. What the heck! Why is she acting like this? I hear sobbing. I look behind myself and see my little sister crying. Luci clung onto my jacket. Even now, what am I supposed to do? Let people get away with hurting my sister? I take her to her room. I go to find the first aid kit we keep. My eye stung again. And I wasn't crying, my injured eye was proof of being abused by people. I go back to the room and fix up Luci's cuts on her arms and face. She looks at the window. So I do too. I see a faceless man in a suit. My eyes widden. Luci wasn't imagining this friend. He's real! Luci smiles.
    "Hi. I guess you saw the whole shinanigin, huh? Don't be mad."
