Chapter 20.

Star Wars

Second week of 9th grade.

Lexa:
At lunch Ginny had been talking nonstop about her boyfriend Ryan. I don't know how she moved on so fast. I mean they were just friends but it still hurts knowing I'll never talk to Lewis again. This school year Ginny and I groups kind if reformed and combined. It was Ginny, Amanda, Molly, osha, Ray, rose, this girl from another school named Chrissy, and I. Sam was with us for a few days but then he broke up with osha and now he's hanging out with the boys. I zoned back into the conversation when I heard my name.

"Lexa you would love the new Star Wars movie I just saw it last week", rose said.

"i was planning to see it soon", I said.

"I've never seen any of the other other Star Wars movies but I've always wanted to. You could bring me and show me what all the fuss is about", Ginny suggested.

"Sounds fun", I said, "anyone else want to come? It would probably be this Saturday".

"Not my thing", Ray said.

"Yeah same", Amanda agreed.

"I'm busy", Chrissy said sadly.

"You know I hate Star Wars", Molly said.

"So I guess it's just the two of us", Ginny looked right at me.

"Yeah".

We all finished our lunches and went off to class.

Ginny:
"Okay girls meet us back here when the movies over", Lexa's mom said.

"Okay", Lexa and I said in unison.

We walked into the movie and sat in the very back row.

"Ryan and I always sit back here", I couldn't help but say.

"Cool I guess".

"Give me a little background information on this series".

Lexa filled me in on the important details. At the end of the movie Lexa and I looked at eachother.

"How did you like it", she asked?

"It was great".

I don't know what overcame me but I kissed Lexa. Maybe it was her adorable light blue drop top. Or her beatiful blonde hair. I quickly pulled away.

"Oh my god", I said and ran out of the theater.

Lexa was left there. I locked myself in the movie bathroom.
