Dream's 'nightmares'

Living on the Streets

Dream and Nightmare left the house sometime around 11:59 am, and after they left Dream just went to a street ally somewhere far away from Drista and his home. “Dream, why are we way out here?” Nightmare asked. “Because I don’t want to be anywhere CLOSE to Drista after that. I don’t want YOU to end up hurting her.” Right after Dream said that Nightmare stood there shocked and just stood still for a while. Dream started to regret what he said, “Nightmare, I-” But before he could finish Nightmare went back into the mindscape and was in there for the rest of the night till 3:45 pm the next day. When Nightmare came out Dream was still sound asleep, “Dream!” Dream instantly woke up to the sound of Nightmare’s screaming. “What do you want Nightmare?” Dream asked, then Nightmare said right after that, “We should find a proper place to live, other than the streets.” “You’re probably right.” Dream said agreeing to Nightmare. They both got up from the ground dusted themselves off and started walking up and down the streets. They knocked on every door other than the door to Dream’s home. Dream didn’t want to see Drista till he got control of Nightmare. Nightmare got tired from walking and went into the mindscape, Dream was slightly annoyed by that but continued walking. Dream came across a house that actually let him stay. The man who let Dream stay was named Phil. “What are you doing outside wandering the streets by yourself?” Phil asked Dream. Dream responded shortly after, “I left home,” But before he could finish Phil quickly asked him why he left. Dream didn’t really feel like saying why he left home, but he did. “I left home because a parasite lives in my head and it killed my parents.” Phil was shocked and right after Dream finished his sentence Nightmare came out and slightly yelled, “I said I didn’t mean to!” Phil slowly started to back away seeing that there were now TWO children in his home, Dream saw that he was doing that and said, “Hey it’s okay, I’m trying to learn how to take control of him. He goes by the name, Nightmare. And I’m Dream.” Phil was surprised that they both had similar names, one Dream and the opposite of a dream, Nightmare. “What’s your name, sir?” Dream asked suddenly. Phil answered him saying, “My name is, Philza, but you can call me Phil or Dadza like Wilbur does.” What it looked like Dream got stars in his eyes, and then said, “Dadza!”
