Notice: The reader is the ultimate keyboard player in this story. Though I was thinking of y/n as a girl when I wrote this they dont have any confirmed gender.“I don’t know if this is gonna work, Tsumugi..” You said worryingly. Today was the day you would ask your crush, Kaede Akumatsu, to be your girlfriend, and naturally, you were nervous as frick. “Of course it will work, y/n! How could it not? Ive planned out everything!” She said as she fixed you hair. “Do not worry, y/n! I have prayed to Atua, and he has granted you blessings! I know it!” Angie said enthusiastically as she put on the final touches of her painting, it was a beautiful flower, not just any flower, kaede’s favorite flower. “Mhm! What angie said!” Tsumugi commented as she put the last pin in your hair “Ta-da! Done!” She said with a smile. “And just in time!” Kirumi said as she entered “Maki and Tenko have just arrived with Kaede!” Kirumi announced. “Ah! We must get in our places!! Come on come on angie!” Tsumugi exclaimed, grabbing angies hand and pulling her off the stage, angie not struggling. “Tenko! Maki! What are you doing? Why did you bring me here?” Kaede questioned the two as they sat her down in one of the velvet chairs in front of the stage. “Its a surprise!! We told you!!” Tenko exclaimed. “Yeah, shut up, titless! The show is about to start!” Miu said, coming out from behind the stage and taking a seat near her. “Show…?” before kaede could get a awnser, the lights dimmed and all the girls fell silent, music began to play from behind the stage and the curtains slowly opened, but due to the off lights, kaede couldnt see anything. “Can you take me away and go at the top speed of sound?” The lyrics sang before the music picked up and the lights suddenly came on, revealing none other then y/n on their keyboard and singing! “Running to another day! I wanna break away and take the leap!”
“Ooh..oh oh oh! As were stuck on yesterday, no sun to rise would be okay with me!”
“Dududu!!”
“Everyday...everyday is okay, taking it step by step!”
“Oh!”
“We’ll always move ahead!”
“Oh!”

“You fall down seven more times!”

The music played a bit more before eventually stopping. Kaede stared up at you in awe, she seemed totally amazed. You gulped before walking off the stage and to kaede. “S-So Kaede...will you...be my girlfriend..?” Kaede seemed to snap out of her trance at hearing you speak, she smiled the biggest smile you’ve ever seen her have. “Ahh!! Of course I will, y/n!!” Before you could awsner, she hugged you tight and kissed you right on the lips. All the girls squealed, screamed, and clapped in joy. “Ya-ha!! Atua was correct! As always!!” “I am quite happy for you too…” “Eeee! Yesss!!” “Looks like all that hard work payed off! Ooo, this would be a great fan fic!” “Haha! Yeah!! You think their gonna fu-” Maki elbowed Miu in the gut before she could finish her sentence. Kaede only looked up at y/n and giggled, and y/n giggled back.
