Five days. Five days of waiting. But for what? For me to slowly drive to insanity. I swear the only thing stopping us from going crazy was the fact Chelsea was funny as hell, John getting mad every time I talk to Cora and the planes flying over our heads dropping air drop. Wait what? I looked up to see 2 planes fly over and drop a create each. I look around to see the others just as confused as I am. We got around the table for a talk.
John started it off "So it seems someone knows there are people down here and want to help so we need the drops" he said that as if it was going to be easy. John was a big guy very muscly. I know that's now really right for a man to say to another man but it was true.
"I have an idea" I told them "If we split up into 2 small teams we just go and get them" I made that sound easy. They all nodded at the idea. Well guess that's a start. "So we need Tristan, Chelsea and Charlie to stay here and make sure things go OK here. And if anyone comes along you can deal with them as you see fit" I started to go on "Then I'll team up with Cora and we'll go to the city to get the one that looks like it landed on a roof" Cora nodded at me she knew why I picked her "Then John and Kate you two go to the one that landed in the forest. Any question?" I looked around the table and no one had any. Wow I thought that John was going to be like "Aww I want to go with Cora 'cause I'm totes in love with her" but no didn't get that. We got up and readied ourselves. I had to load my Deagle that was about it. I was at the gate waiting for Cora. She was the first one out other than me so we went off early. We walked out the gate and ran up a tree together. We nodded at each other and set off along the trees.

We got to the city and it seemed...empty. We started to walk being there no more tree. We made our way though the city. And again still found time to talk "So um...Cora like how old are you?" it was small talk but I was bored.
She looked at me before looking forward again "16. You?" she asked me.
"Just turned 17 like 2 weeks ago" I had to move a box out of my way before walking onwards.
"I getting to 17 in about 1 mouth or so" She said that with sadness in her voice. Well you can't blame her having to have a birthday in a out break of what ever these things are. Yeah still don't know what they are. We kept walking until we saw a thin green smoke coming off a roof. That's it! We didn't pause we went straight up the side of the building using the windows and anything sticking out to climb it. I got to the top and gave Cora a hand up as she made it to. We ran over to the drop. We knew we couldn't take all of it we only had two backpacks. I pulled the lid off and looked in. Nothing!
"What the hell!?" Cora asked me. She thought I knew really?
"I-I don't know maybe someone got here first" I looked at her with anger on my face yet I could not help but feel relived "well I guess we ain't the only ones out here" Cora had the same feeling I could tell. But before we could look more. Gunfire! I turned and tackled Cora. We went straight off the building and landed on a car. Arr that one hurt and the fact was I let Cora land on top on me so i took most of that one. She got up "Thanks Josh" now was not the time for that. I leaped up and we shot off. We ran all the way back the forest. We ran up and tree and started to ran along them again. I saw Cora go the swing off and branch but no. She grabbed it and it snapped, she was dangling there. I ran over. I jumped and tackled her off it "There always something with you!" we hit another tree landing on a thick branch. We got up and looked at each other. There was no time for anything we were still getting shot at. We set off again and just about made it to camp were we jumped the fence and landed perfectly. Who were those guys?!
