The Planning

Lana knew from her common knowledge that couldn't survive more than five minutes on land so Lana had to find a way to bring water with her on land. Just then Lana heard footsteps ahead. Her heart sank. Bink couldn't be here already! "Bink, you need to go to school!" called a voice that Lana recognized as Bink's mother, Sarah. "But mama, I want to feed my axolotl!"Bink replied. "Bink you can only put the food inside the bowl and then go to school. "Sarah replied. Lana allowed a smile to sneak across her mouth. Bink wasn't going to watch her eat! Lana hid under the cave that Sarah had bought for her and stayed there, listening. Plop! Went the pile of ants and the mushed snails in Lana's bowl. SLAM! Went the door. Lana waited until the sound of vrrring stopped and all was quiet. Lana slowly swam towards the food and stomped them until they were just crumbs now. Then she put them in the long transparent pole and waited until they disappeared from view. Now was the time to begin planning. Lana drew a map of the whole house on the sand and then drew a dot for where her aquarium was and a dot for where the hose was. "Hmm now, how will I get the hose to make a watery track to the outside?" Lana pondered out loud. Then like a thunderbolt striking her, Lana had an idea! she could flick water onto the floor with her hands and then make a trail going to the hose and then press the button to turn it on! Easy.
