Matthew. Emo, Hotness!
March 21st, 2014 8:14 AMIt's bright and early in the morning and I can feel the observation of students as I walk to my next class.
That's right. I'm writing and reading. Language Arts is my first class, so since I'm early (it starts as 8:20) I'll have time to write in my diary. Usually I slack off and arrive "fashionably late" but the diary wasn't my only excuse to be early. Being "fashionably late" had always been Nina's thing (dedicated to my friend Nina) and she's popular and runs the school's NEVERLAND GOSSIP COLUMN, which is starting to be a threat to students but a hotspot to read and have.
But it's not like I'm on there or anything.
Only shocking news gets put in there.
I'm surprised when I walk in, because Matthew's sitting there reading a SPORTS TODAY magazine. I pat my hair and sit down. Not next to him of course. His girlfriend Annabelle (dedicated to my bff) sits next to him. "Kimmy?" he asks. "You know me?" I put down my diary and look at him. "SURE! We were in 5th Grade together, weren't we?" he asked leaning closer. "Yup. You were not quite emo yet!" I hoped I didn't sound like I was putting out labels. "Ha, no, I wasn't. So, hey, wanna catch a movie later?" he looked serious, yet cute. "Why not? Sounds fun!" I smiled, but inside I wanted to scream with joy.
"Great...um so I'll text you?" he wrote his number on my arm with a big flourish that said Matthew. HOT! He turned back when the rest of the students were just filing in. Annabelle motioned for Matthew to stand up and they had a major make out session. I didn't know if I was just seeing things, but was Matthew pulling away from her? No way. Annabelle, Nina and Hannah are always getting the guys.
Why would he pull away??
