The death of a brave man

"Daddy don't go."  I looked down from my perch and saw my little adopted sister hanging onto dad's leg as he tried to sheath Equilis our family sword which had two metals in it celestial silver and the black gold of the dammed. Forged by our ancestor Quence the dragons bane. My little sister Alice had sparkling gray hair bright purple eyes. She was one of the most innocent souls you would ever meet. Dad ruffled her hair put on  scrap armor made of silver and iron. Mum came and kissed him and begged him to stay as well as Alice. "Don't worry about it its just a goblin hunt the worse that would happen is a Hob was there ." Dad said "I know but it is tuff knowing you are out there risking your life for some duke who doesn't care about you."  "I don't do it for him I do it for you all of you." he said while hugging mum and little sis and looking at me in the rafters. "Now may I go serve my country my beautiful wife?" "Yes." she said with a sigh. "You won't regret it I promise ,Zero take care of everything while I am gone even though you are 13 I am trusting the farm to you until I return." He said with a smile.


(2 weeks later)
I went down stairs and heard knocking on the door I came to the door and found a knight with fathers sword except it was charred and saw his bow as well that I made for him. I looked up at the knight and saw that he was my dads friend Medis with a sorrowful look on his face he said that Valuence was with the goblins and dad sacrificed himself to save the others by stabbing Valuence in the eye with Equilis then Valuence breathed black fire upon him. I took my dads sword and the bow and dropped them on the floor and for the first time in my life I cried and the tears fell upon dads blade and separated into two blades. mom and Dous came down stairs and I told them everything that happened and I gave Dous the white blade I took the black blade and decided to give the bow to Alice as a gift.  Then I woke up from my dream.
