Escape
Voldy, with shears in hand and inventory not-very-full with goodies, set out to the spider dungeon. He cleared a pathway and went to the chests. There was a saddle, some bread, string, and gunpowder, as well as a bucket."This has been a successful journey." said Voldy happily. "Now I will return home."
Voldy began tunneling up. He knew a very important thing about caves- never standing on top of the block you are mining, or right next to it/very close. Who knows, you could die in lava!
Which is exactly what almost happened to Voldy. Unaware of the red/orange drips from the ceiling, he continued on, yelling in surprise when lava came pouring out. He quickly stopped the flow and with more caution continued on in a different area.
Finally daylight flooded the little tunnel. Voldy stepped out into a forest. He looked around him, then realized that he had redstone and iron with him. Voldy made a compass, found his way to spawn, then walked the well-traveled path to home.
