Halloween

A poem for Halloween. I was dressed up as TRON. Trick-or-treat? Heh, I'd like to know what you guys are, if you are. Today's date is 31-Oct-13. (P.S. I'm not very good.)

Halloween

In the dark autumn day,
And we went out to play,
But it became a dark night,
And the witches cackled with delight,
They said they'll make us pay,
So the sun didn't shine that day,
Once again it was a dark night,
We were mad with terror, mad with with fright,
Then Batman appeared on the tier and gave 'em a leer,
And the witches trembled in great big fear,
We stared in awe,
Comprehending what we saw,
"Make the sun shine!" Batman said,
"We rather be dead.",
"Suit your self." and he raised his hand,
"Stop, sir! We understand!"
The witches vanished and the deed undone,
We cried out " Yes! Justice has won!",
The story is told,
The story is old,
Applause in great fright,
For the great dark knight,
