Emma

Yay! I was so happy! Cain had asked me to lunch. I smiled when he came with a couple of burgers and coke. "Want some?" he asked. I smiled. "I'll take that as a yes." We ate for a bit until he asked me something. "Emma, will you come with me to the back of the school? I wanna talk to you." I nodded and we walked. We arrived and as he was about to say something, we heard screaming. We froze. "Let's go!" Cain whispered. We walked only to find David trying to kiss Ashley on the floor. Cain ran up to David and punched him. "Cain, no!" I shouted. David was confused but then stood up and attacked Cain. "Go! Take Ashley with!" Cain shouted. I helped Ashley stand up and we ran. As we arrived at the door, we bumped into someone. "Ow!" I shouted. "What's wrong?" Wait a minute, that's Jordan's voice. "David, David, tried to..." Ashley said. I saw that she was terrified. "What? Where?" he asked. Ashley pointed at the back. "I see! Ashley, are you bleeding?" Jordan asked. I looked at her and saw her nose all bloody. Jordan freaked. "He's gonna pay! But first I'll take you to the nurse!" He picked up Ashley in his arms and before running said "Emma, go to the principal and tell him what happened! Ok?" I nodded and ran to the principal's office. I knocked on the door and rushed in. "Emma? What..." "Sir, there are two boys fighting at the back of the school! Pls stop them!" I gasped for air. "Where?" he asked. I showed him the way and when we arrived, they were all bloody and punching each other. "Stop it right now! Both of you Detention!" The boys stared at the principal and wiped their bloody noses. I ran up to Cain and hugged him. "Are you alright?" "Yes, I'm fine. Don't worry." Cain and David followed the principal. I then ran to the nurse. I was about to open the door when I heard them talk so I listened. "I'm sorry Ash! Will you pls forgive me?" "It's ok Jordan! I forgive you! Thanks for helping me out by the way!" "It was nothing! I, I did it because I hate people being hurt." "Thanks Jordan!" "Ashley? I know I've been bad to you all the time but there's something I want to ask you." What is it?" "Will you go to prom with me? Pls?" Silence. "Why?" Ashley asked. "Because I, I, I love you!" I gasped. Silence again. Suddenly I heard the bed squeak and then I heard kissing. I froze. They were kissing! How sweet! Then Cain and David arrived and opened the door. No! As they opened it, they saw Ashley and Jordan making out. "OMGosh! Sorry!" Cain said and then closed the door. I laughed. "Were you listening?" Cain asked. "Yeah!" David sighed and walked away. "Listen Emma, what I wanted to ask is, will you go to prom with...." He didn't get the time to finish his sentence because I kissed him. A while after, I pulled away. "So, is that a yes?" I smiled. We walked away and heard loud kissing noises from the nurse's office.
